2008 Guide Festival, Chamonix

Wednesday 13th in Espace Olca in Les Houches there is wine and film projections for the guides.

14th August there is a remembrance celebration at the church in Argentiere

The 15th starts with a traditional parade from the cemetery to the church. Guides from across the valley remember colleagues who passed away, reviewing the year and welcoming newly qualified guides.

The big party kicks off at 18:00 at Les Gaillands, there is lots to do with activities specially aimed at children.

There will be a giant tartiflette to tuck into before big sound and light show begins. The show ends with an impressive fireworks display, before it's time for the music and dancing.
