Champery annouces a host of improvements

Champery, can be found on the Swiss side of the massive ski area Portes du Soleil. Portes du Soleil has 6509km (407 miles) of pistes formed from a collection of French and Swiss ski resorts.

2009 Champery announces some new ski lifts, hotels and restaurants for the start of this season.

More activities will also be avallable including a new ‘Parc Aventure By Night’ course which is an evening activity course operated by the Champéry Aventure Team Parc every Friday night to April 26th.

For the non-skiers Torgon has a new indoor climbing wall, the biggest in the region with five routes with varied difficulty to suit any climber.

In Morgins Guillaume Nantermod an experience mountain guide has some great activities including snowshoe trips and igloo construction from a lodge in Chésery at an altitude of 2000 meters.
