Europe has some great winter holiday destinations.

Buying a winter holiday home

Austria

Particularly chic ski towns like Kitzbuhel, has become popular because it's a bit easier to buy there thanks to European Union regulations that have made mortgages readily available to foreigners. And because the real estate market in Austria is relatively stable (the country has been welcoming vacationers for a long time, so there's no sudden surge of second-home buyers to shake up the market), prices tend to be a bit gentler.

France

Known for its challenging runs, Courchevel, which consists of five distinct villages, was one of the first high-end ski resorts in France, established soon after World War II.

The village Courchevel 1850 plays host to most of the resort's upper echelon with fine restaurants and high-end shopping.

The ski area of the Courchevel valley of 1,304 acres.

With 150 kilometres of downhill pistes, served by 62 chairlifts, to get the most out of your day’s skiing. For hardened skiers, 38 red runs and 10 black runs will test your technique and ability to the full!
