Flaine gets two new ski-lifts for winter 08

Flaine are building five new chairlifts over four years, these two new ones are the second and third ones.

There will also be a new area for beginners. The new six seater "Tete des Verds" ski-lift will create a link between the left-hand and right-hand sides of the Flaine ski area.

This will reduce the need to take your skis off and ride up the old bucket lift (which is also going to get an upgrade.)

The lift will be 1,751m long and be able to accommodate 3000 people-per-hour.

A new four person chairlift - "Les Gerats" will provide fast connection to the entire Gerats zone of the ski area (four green runs).

Flaine are also going to be widening the Tomaline run.

All in all, great news Flaine.
