Five great runs in Les Arc

Peisey and Vallandry tree runs

One of the real strengths of Les Arcs is the great tree coverage, especially lower down towards Plan Peisey and Vallandry. Chairs 61, 68 and 74 all have easy-to-navigate tree runs even when the light is bad. Intermediates and experts will love them.

Aiguille Rouge

The place for off-piste routes in Les Arc. There are some great backcountry routes (marked but not groomed or marshalled) down to Villaroger. As with any off-piste skiing a guide is recommended with avalanche gear essential.

Chair 69

For those too scared by Aiguille Rouge or those wanting to build up their off piste skills. Chair 69 is a nice, gentle introduction to off-piste. A great sign is that it's popular with the - the lift goes up the route allowing you to pick your route down from the comfort of the ski lift.

Piste du Grand Col

For expert skiers that love mogels the two runs from the top of Grand Col lift (2,832m) are great.
