Toutenkhanon - a local festival for local people

11th June 2008

The idea of the Toutenkhanon festival deliberately held in low season, when the tourists have long departed, is to have an event to let people who live in the village or own holiday homes to meet and get to know each other.

Toutenkhanon - a local festival for local people

A happy and friendly festival - there was a meal at lunchtime followed by demonstrations and games in the afternoon. Tug of war, sack races, boules competition or various exhibitions including an expert wood sculptor.

The day finished with dinner and dance in the evening. All in all a great day.
