Early Snow across the Alps this October

Tux is one of around 20 European ski resorts with fresh snow on the glaciers.

Other centres open include Saas Fee and Zermatt in Switzerland, Tignes in France and the glaciers near Kaprun, Schladming and Innsbruck in Austria.

In past years early snowfall in October or November has been followed up by great snow over the season. We've got our fingers crossed that this is a good omen for the coming winter season.
