French Ski Resort Drops Prices

The French ski resort of Les 2 Alpes, one of Europe’s most renounced resorts for great snow conditions, has announced reduced pricing on lift passes for the remainder of the 2009 ski season, Les 2 Alpes which offers skiing at the resort well in to May.

Ski lift tickets are going to cost you around 20% less, down from 37.50 to 30.33 Euros per day for multi-day lift tickets and down to 29.50 Euros for day tickets purchased for weekend skiing.

All of Les 2 Alpes 73 pistes are open and currently there is an impressive 190cm (over six feet) of snow lying on the glacier, which is open through in to May, with one of the longest ski seasons in France. There is also 80cm of snow lying at resort level.

Skiers and boarders can also get 40% off ski and board rentals for the remainder of the season if reserved in advance online using the SkiSet shop through the resort’s website.
