Hintertux, in Austria, already has an amazing 120cm of snow with a further 55cm of snow due over the next few days.

Obergurgl, which is expects 50cm of snow in the next couple of days is going to open on Friday.

In Switzerland, Zermatt already has more than two metres of snow on its upper slopes, while Saas Fee has 158cm. These two swiss ski resorts are expecting a further 45cm of snow this week.

For the UK skiier or snowboarder - Cairngorm and The Lecht in Scotland have also seen some early snow falls and were briefly open at the start of November. Cairngorm is now closed for its scheduled maintenance work and mild and wet conditions have closed Lecht.
