Snow train not running next year

Blamed on the credit crunch, the snow train was a great fav. amongst the short get-away-ers (is that even a word!) it meant that you could get on the slopes nice and quick having had a bit of a snooze..

The press release reckons this might not be the end of the snow train, just a suspension for next year.

Skiers and snowboarders can still get direct to the Alps with Eurostar.. Who knows they may lay on an extra service to fill the gap. But either way it's sad news..
