The Italian ski resorts in Dolomites improve lifts

Fassa-Carezza ski resort has two improvements - the Carezza-Costalunga ski area with a new eight-seater cable car linking Carezza to the Costalunga Pass, and a four-seater chairlift at the Costalunga Pass.While the resort of Val Gardena-Alpe di Siusi has a new six-seater chairlift and a new eight-seater cable car ‘Col Raiser' to replace the existing cable car.The ski resort Tre Valli will have a new eight seater cable car - ‘Ronchi-Valbona-Le Cune' replacing the ‘Ronchi-Valbona' and ‘Valbona-Le-Cune' cable cars. With new lifts to open in the resorts of Cortina d'Ampezzo, Alta Badia, Arabba-Marmolada, and Alta Pusteria.Across the summer the Dolomiti Superski area had nine lift upgrades and several slopes were widened and snowmaking facilities have been expanded.The ski season in the Dolomites starts in a couple of weeks - Nov. 29, 2008.
