Val Gardena rated top resort in the Alps

Val Gardena has been rated'Top Ski Resort' for Alpine skiing by ADAC travel magazine. ADAC tested the most beautiful and best-known ski resorts in the Alps.

Val Gardena rated top resort in the Alps

The magazine reported that Val Gardena had "versatile slopes and unique scenery" and awarded it first place for Alpine skiing.

Three Valleys in France was second whilst Zermatt in Switzerland came in third.

Val Gardena has like most of European ski resorts received some amazing snow this winter. With one metre of fresh snow already reported in the valley, the slopes are in perfect conditions.

Val Gardena is part of the Dolomiti Superski area which has over 500 kilometres of slopes.
